Artist who depicted biblical scenes based on his visits to the Holy Land, and also designed church murals and stained glass. James Eadie-Reid was born in Dundee and was a pupil of William Richmond. He also worked with Henry Holiday and had windows made by James Powell & Sons in the 1890s. Eadie-Reid designed for the Gateshead Stained Glass Company from around 1900 until the closure of the firm in 1926, by which time he was a major shareholder.
